No the world is not about to end but my challenge is (for me anyway) so apologies for the dramatic post title. After giving it some thought i have decided i won't be continuing with my game after this season and will in fact be having a break from the game in anticipation for FM2009 coming out. I currently have about 10 games of season 5 left to play and once completed i will update with the details. I have decided however the Real Sociedad Challenge will be making a comeback for FM2009 as Real Sociedad will unfortunately still be in the 2nd division next season after finishing 4th in real life and with many players leaving and financial problems affecting the club it should be even harder next time. I am undecided whether i will continue with the current blog or revamp it. Stay tuned for details though.
I would like to say a massive thanks to all who have taken on the challenge and congradulations again to headshotbg for winning it. Also thanks to everyone who contributed by posting comments, especially you Vincent (i will continue to follow your FM career with interest). Adios for now.

Great stuff Vincent thanks. Like i said in the post i will continue to follow your progress and look forward to seeing how you get on with Real Madrid - a team i have failed to beat in 10 attempts on my game ha ha.

Hi James all will be revealed very soon however i can reveal unless something amazing happens i won't be winning La Liga unless i hire a sniper to take out the whole Real Madrid team. They haven't lost a single league game all season!

Thats brilliant fippsey well done. 7th in your 2nd season is fantastic and if you can get through the Intertoto or Euro Vase as its called on the game you will be in the UEFA Cup. Who was your best players in season 2?

mikel gonzalez
luis jimenez - 1 mill from ternana
gari - 15 goals 18 assists superb
also marvin angulo
them four there goals and assists are the main reason
Mikel Gonzalez getting goals at CB! How many did he score? I hardly played him aswell but coming to think of it every time i did he usually got the odd goal with the head. I've heard Jimenez is good from a few people but i missed out on signing him then his price went through the roof.
once jiminez left inter his price fell really low
but gonzalez got 10 goals lol
